Holding meetings is the most common way we have for starting and developing work plans within our organisations, but given the amount of time we spend of meetings, they need to be run effectively and efficiently. This training course will take you through the basics of good meeting planning and management, from setting agendas to taking accurate minutes.
By the end of the session, you will:
understand why meetings are needed, what makes a good meeting, the need for minutes and accuracy of reporting
understand the planning of an agenda and the preparation required
explore practical tips and useful words for producing good minutes
consider the blocks to participation
Ideal for: anybody who is new to the role of taking meeting minutes or notes, or who would like to refresh their skills.
