Course Details

CICT’s Mobile Crane (Less Than 15 Tons) training course is a program which includes theory and practical components. The course adheres to Canadian Standards Association, Occupational Health & Safety and Manufacture Specifications and is applicable throughout Canada.

The course is offered mobile at a client’s site or at our training facility. The course is designed for anyone who may be required to operate a mobile crane less than 15 tons.

The training focuses on the safe and efficient operation mobile crane on the work site. The training has been designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to safely and effectively use this equipment.

 

Training completion & certification:

  • Participants will receive a wallet sized card or ticket certifying that they have successfully completed & met the training requirements

  • CICT will provide proof of training completion to employers when requested

  • Training records are kept on file & participants, employers & sites may contact CICT for proof of training

  • Occupational Health and Safety requirements

  • Equipment overview

  • Equipment limitations & selection

  • Hazard awareness

  • Code of practice

  • Pre-use inspection

  • Function check

  • Load assessment

  • Rigging review

  • Safe lifting of loads
