We are innovative and responsive to the needs of our trainees, communicate openly and honestly, support and encourage them, share knowledge and ideas, and work collaboratively for their benefit.
What we do
Now with over 100+ staff, 120+ trainers and 110+ courses on offer; we have the capacity and capabilities to deliver nationwide training like no other provider. We know your industry.
All of our trainers have extensive industry experience and have been selected to join the Vertical Horizonz team because of their standout performance within their chosen field.
Personal or occupational safety hazards, such as slips, trips and falls usually affect one individual worker at a time however process safety hazards on the other hand may cause major accidents involving the release of potentially dangerous materials, fires or explosions.
EWPs from Scissor lifts, Truck or Trailer Mounted, Boom lift or Vertical Lifts we do them all. The course is designed to give trainees a sound understanding of the safe operating principles of EWPs.
This course, which is unique to the petro-chemical industry, will provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to apply for, accept and carry out work according to the relevant permit, supported by Common Permit to Work processes and procedures.
This course is a Health & Safety requirement and operators MUST be certified for using a EWP within the workplace as per the WorkSafe NZ "Best Practice Guide for Mobile EWP's".
For anyone who hasn’t completed any confined space training we recommend this course to form a good foundation of knowledge. Please note that this is not an NZQA course – it’s better.
