Emotion is the wellspring of the expressive gesture in modern dance, in contrast to the aestheticism and virtuosity of classical ballet.
Modern dance, from a technical perspective, unfolds more on the floor than in the air, refusing classical ballet’s stress on the feet as the primary catalyst for dance movements.
Instead, it lays stress on the torso, on the flexibility of the spine, as well as on contact with the floor, and is usually performed in bare feet.

Just as the toddler stage passes, this class is specifically designed for the milestone of 3 year olds.
Ballet Course is Offered by Performance School of Music and Dance.
All adult ballet participants train at the barre and in the centre, executing a series of classical ballet exercises designed to develop coordination, strength, proper posture, and musicality.
Once students enter grade 1 at school they proceed into 45 minute to 60 minute classes. More focus is placed on proper technique and execution. We continue to maintain age appropriate music and movement for all age levels.
