At Hayman Dance we will train and groom aspiring young dancers and choreographers, from the “once a week” tiny tot to the most senior Vocational student including those wanting to make dance their career.
It is our aim, not only to teach all our pupils everything they need to know about the basics of dance, but also to train them in the technical proficiency of their chosen dance form.
Our exercises and techniques are based on the A.I.D.T.A. syllabus and we have a lot of fun working on dances that’s inspired by a variety of styles from Hip-Hop to Salsa.
Tap Dance Lessons are offered by And U Dance Studio for all ages and abilities. We strive to deliver the highest quality of dance instruction, while nurturing each student’s unique gift of talent and creativity.
Tap dance is a form of dance characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion. Two major variations on tap dance exist: rhythm (jazz) tap and Broadway tap.
A fun and challenging class where choreography and moves are introduced that fall outside the curriculum. Tap knowledge and technique on the equivalent of Grade 4 needs to be understood for this class.
