Overview

To assess effectiveness and report outcomes, development professionals and public-sector managers establish monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems. These systems enable organisations to learn from experience, enhance program performance, and improve project outcomes.

Monitoring and evaluation is therefore a critical function for all organisations, programs, and projects. As a result, international and public-sector organisations have long invested in developing robust M&E structures. This course provides participants with a thorough understanding of the technical skills and tools needed to effectively monitor projects and programs, as well as manage the evaluations that form part of the program lifecycle.
