Our director and founder Jim Jones, has over 30 years of first aid and health and safety experience, gained during a career of over 20 years in retail management and over 15 years as a senior officer and manager, with St John Ambulance.
Throughout his time with St John Ambulance, he gained experience in providing ambulance support services, to Gloucestershire Ambulance Service (now South Western Ambulance Service), in addition to volunteering for the organisation, as a senior volunteer, managing the provision of medical cover, at events such as Cheltenham Races, Fairford Air Show, The Cheese Roll at Coopers Hill, Gatcombe Horse Trials, and many more.
Soon after this, he became a trainer, and managed the provision of training to young people in schools and youth groups and to the community as a whole across Gloucestershire.
Following the restructure of the organisation, from a county based management model, to a regional based management model, Jim fulfilled the role of South West Regional Training and Community Project Manager, with responsibility for providing training to members of the public, community groups, young people in schools and youth groups and the volunteers and staff of St John Ambulance, across the South West.
