The great demand for highly qualified and trained computer professionals had led IIIT to commit itself to provide computer education of the highest quality. IIIT established in 1989 has grown over the years in to a pioneer institution of higher education in Kottayam.

IIIT is a programme study centre of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) for the conduct of counseling sessions for theory and practical for their computer courses, CIT, BCA & MCA as a part of their various distant education programmes. 

These sessions are conducted on Saturdays & Sundays. IGNOU is a central university established by Government of India. MCA&BCA degrees are approved by UGC, MHRD & Kerala PSC.

IIIT is authorized centre of C-DIT (Centre for Development of Imaging Technology) under Govt. of Kerala. The certificate issued by C-DIT is suitable for the appointment in Government services. 

Kerala public service commission has recently issued order for approval of C-DIT diploma courses in computer application as a recognized IT qualification for the posts in Government sector.

IIIT provides basic computer courses to highly advanced long term courses including PGDCA, DCA, DTP, DFA etc. IIIT also concentrate special courses for Accountants Indian & Foreign accounting, SAP etc and Animation (Web designing. Graphics designing Multimedia etc). We give thrust in Project training in latest softwares ASP.NET, PHP, VB.NET, JAVA etc.
