This class initially covers some basics of computing/word processing and then aims to teach some of the many uses of Microsoft Word. Learn how to create a new document using different fonts, colours, tabs and tables.
The course aims to provide new users with some essential skills needed to create, edit and print professional looking documents. It also covers making greeting cards, booklets and newsletters, templates and labels. Practise embellishing documents with graphics, including pictures, shapes and text boxes.
Learn page layout and design, including bullets and numbering. Use your skills for presenting family histories/stories, Christmas letters, greeting cards, labels for jars etc.
If you have very little knowledge/usage of computers, you may feel better to attend a Windows/Computer Basics class first.
