Unlike western boxing, the sport of Muay Thai combines the use of fists, elbows, knees and shins . This is what is often described as the “art of eight limbs”. Started back in 2003 by Kru Cliff Bura, Diesel Gym’s Muay Thai Team was formerly known as London Sitnarong. The team was started under the guidance of Grandmaster Sken Kaewpadung.
Diesel Gym (a name inspired by legendary Thai fighter Dieselnoi) is an internationally renowned Muay Thai gym with a great heritage. Although born out of London’s historic “fighting East End” it is also well known for its traditional Muay Thai ethos and background.
Throughout the years the gym has employed several fighters from Thailand as coaches. Also its home grown instructors have gained authentic international coaching awards (kru) from registered Thai Grandmasters.
