The Municipal Leadership Development Program (MLDP) is a series of modules or workshops developed exclusively for elected and appointed municipal leaders in Saskatchewan.
The modules target specific issues of importance to urban, rural and northern municipalities. Mayors, reeves, councillors and municipal staff are able to benefit from this program that is designed to strengthen local government leadership.
Our inventory of Training Programs is aimed at all levels of Leadership Development – for young professionals and new managers, to mid-career professionals, to senior-level executives and Board members, to seasoned (but often struggling) business owners.
This includes the importance of listening for understanding, creating an environment of accountability, and identifying individual versus team needs. Participants will gain the how-to to establish and maintain trust within teams as a leader.
Leading and mentoring educators, early interventionists, healthcare professionals, family support professionals, and parents through the process of change can be a challenge to policy makers, administrators, and front-line personnel.
Leader’s Role in Resolving Conflict training is offered by Janine Higgins for all skill level. My training sessions and workshops are modular, so I can combine modules to create the program to suit the client’s needs. Exercises and examples can be customized.
To become the leader you want to be, you will likely need to make some shifts in your approach. Because like most people, you have behaviors that worked before, but no longer fit.
