DurationWe need music now more than ever. The WCM is pleased to continue to offer individual instruction/private lessons throughout the year. Students can choose in person or online instruction, or a combination, depending on the individual’s needs and situation.
We’re taking COVID-19 extremely seriously, and are following all public health guidelines. Our school building is spacious, with large individual studios and common areas that will allow for appropriate social distancing. Shared instruments and surfaces are sanitized between students, and all common areas are cleaned frequently.
Teachers work one-on-one with students and are able to tailor the lesson to the student. All private instructors at the WCM hold a minimum of a Bachelor of Music and are leaders in their fields of expertise.
Registration is ongoing throughout the year. Private lessons begin September and run a maximum of 38 weeks depending upon the instructor. Lessons are thirty to ninety minutes depending on age and skill level of the individual student.
The Winnipeg Conservatory of Music is a certified educational institute that provides quality private and group music education to students of all ages and stages of musical development.

All of our students have the option to participate in band classes. Students audition for these classes and are put into groups according to age and style preference
