Musical Initiation

We are a small family run business located in Montreal’s Little Italy district that was created in early 2016 upon the closure of Italmelodie, an iconic Montreal institution. Some of our teaching and administrative staff are veterans of the venerable institution while others are veterans of the music industry.

Our teachers are experienced educators and most of them have a university diploma in a musical discipline or are actively engaged as musicians and can be seen performing in various cafés clubs in and around Montreal and abroad. As a reputable educational establishment, our primary goal is to provide you with the tools you will need to make your musical learning experience rewarding and enjoyable.

We are a professional team of dedicated educators and administrators at your service. If you’re not having any fun or you’re finding it overwhelming to learn to play a musical instrument, maybe you just need to talk to your teacher so he can reorient his lesson plan for you or you can speak with an administrator and we’ll be happy to advise you.
