We offer high quality tuition for aspiring dancers aged 2 – 25 in Jazz, Ballet,
Contemporary, Tap, Musical Theatre & Hip Hop. We have created a beautiful studio
environment that has become a place where our pupils are free to let their passions fly.

We Teach New Zealand Association Of Modern Dance.

At Evolve we teach the New Zealand Association of Modern Dance syllabus for Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, Tap and Contemporary. This syllabus taught correctly can give pupils the skills to pursue a career in dance both in New Zealand and abroad.

It challenges children of all abilities and helps lay the foundations necessary for a career in dance while also catering for children who may be looking for a physical outlet and just love to dance.

Both international and New Zealand choreographers have come together to create hundreds of exercises and dancers that are taught across the country. At Evolve we love to support New Zealand owned and operated companies and the New Association of Modern Dance embodies all the values we wish to instill in our pupils.

Teacher's Experience
Alexia has a bachelor of performing arts specialising in musical theatre from the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art. She really didn’t have an option when it came to pursuing theatre as a career with both her parents and grandparents being heavily involved in the theatre scene throughout New Zealand. Her experience has landed her major roles as well as majorly cool jobs like working for Walt Disney World and on board cruise ships. Alexia has a passion for performing and creating and is excited to share her skills and experience with our pupils. When she isn’t teaching at Evolve, you’ll find her teaching singing, helping local businesses create social media content, singing at events, or on stage in a musical!
