Course 1: National Certificate: Community Health Worker (SAQA ID: 64749)
The total cost for the course is R 23 000.00. Registration fee is R 3 000.00 and the balance can be repaid monthly.

1-year Professional Liability cover
2 x Sets of Scrub uniforms

Personal Protective Equipment (during practical placement)
Refreshments (coffee/tea).
Course Excludes:
Transportation to and from training and practical sites
Lunches and other meals
Non-vaccinated students are responsible for the cost of their own Covid 19 testing, in case of another outbreak.
Students who complete the National Certificate: Community Health Worker qualification are able to work in public/ private clinics, acute/ subacute hospitals, old ages homes, frail care centers, retirement villages etc.
These students also get the opportunity during their practical placement to work at all of these healthcare facilities, including working alongside physiotherapists biokinetikists and with paramedics on ambulance etc. This ensure that our students get high quality and valuable exposure and training experiences.

We specialise in national and international healthcare recruitment and have contracts with all the large private hospital groups, including a couple OF old age home chains and retirement villages.
In addition to this, we have established the first Elderly Day Care Center in Port Elizabeth. We are planning on expanding soon!
Oasis Elderly Care offers elderly clients who are living alone or with working family members a safe environment, supervised by trained and experienced healthcare professionals.
Ancillary Healthcare Workers Course (AHC) Course is Offered by HospiceWits.
A course for Community Health Workers specialising in disease prevention
This qualification is for any individual who is or wishes to be, involved in ancillary health care services. A learner who has achieved this qualification will practice the roles of health promoter, health provider, and health networker within a community development context.
