This Qualification is for any individual who is, or wishes to be, involved in operating a lifting machine/s or dealing with challenges in a lifting machine.
Purpose:
This Qualification is for any individual who is, or wishes to be, involved in operating a lifting machine/s or dealing with challenges in a lifting machine. Typical learners will be persons who are currently performing a range of activities and processes in lifting machine environment who have not received any formal recognition for their skills and knowledge, or learners who wish to embark on this qualification or those with a broad knowledge and skills base who work with lifting machines and who want to specialize in certain aspects of the lifting machine environment.
While the Qualification is primarily aimed at providing the lifting machine operator the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skills and attributes required to perform a variety of activities using lifting equipment, it does not preclude any other individual both within and outside the lifting machine environment from accessing it.
Diversity Technology Training Institute was established in 2015 in terms of the Department of Education act and the skills Development act 97 of 1998. Diversity Technology Training Institute started as the Machine Operator and Computer Training Center.
Today we have expanded and we train various courses accredited with numerous SETAs which are TETA, CETA, MQA and Merseta. The institution is registered with the Department of Education as a Private Training Provider. It is also aligning itself to the Quality Council on Trades and Occupations (QCTO).
The Skills Development act 97 of 1998 aim to:
Develop Skills for the South African work force
Increase investment in education and training and improve return on investment in those areas
Encourage employers to promote Skills Development by using the workplace as an active learning environment.
Improve employment prospects by redressing previous disadvantages through training and education.
Ensure the quality of education and training in and for the workplace and
Assist with the placement of first-time work-seekers

What is our purpose:
To provide Training Services to the nation and to implement the objectives of the National Skills Development Strategy (NSDS III) and to ensure that people obtain the critical or scarce skills that are needed to build our nation.
At the conclusion the learner will acquire the knowledge and skills required as a scaffold erector. Their functions will include leading a scaffold team.
Forklift training is offered by AMA Training Centre. We offer job assistance after training. We update students cv, and send their details to more than 70 consultants which can assist them with job placements.
Flagman training is offered by Sinda Africa. In South Africa, the enjoyment of health and safety in any work environment is considered a basic human right and is regulated through the Occupational Health & Safety Act 85 of 1993.
This course provides designated individuals with the skills and knowledge required to assist with evacuations during workplace fire incidents and to operate as key members of an emergency control organisational system.
The assessment complies with specified standards. Certificates and Operator licenses are issued to learners who demonstrate competence to the required unit standard.
