This NPLQ course also includes training in how to use an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED). Participants must pass a practical exam to achieve the qualification.
Tonbridge School Centre runs a Members’ Leisure Club for members of the public. Once a person has joined the Club they are eligible to use all the facilities other than at certain times during the day when TSC is being used by Tonbridge School pupils.

Course designed for those needing a higher level of water safety and rescue training. Learners will cover hydrology, wading, swimming (aggressive & defensive), knots, anchors, pulleys, lowers, vectors, tethered rescues, running rescues, safety systems, welfare and medical considerations, and PPE.
The National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is the official Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) qualification required for lifeguards.
