This course has been designed for individuals who wish to inspect and maintain construction heaters up to 400,000 BTU. It is intended for rental company service repairmen.
The program also covers the regulatory requirements that affect workers in the workplace and on the job site such as those outlined in the Technical Standards and Safety Act and in Ontario Regulation 213/91 Construction Projects.
Upon successful completion of a written test and hands-on demonstration, students receive the following Record of Training (ROT):

Pursuant to section 2.4.2.i of the Safety Code for the construction industry, the Health and Safety on Construction Sites course is mandatory for anyone working primarily and usually on a construction sites. This course allows students to obtain the certificate (card) awarded by ASP Construction.
In recent years there is a trend for builders and contractors to pay more attention to safety-related matters than ever before.
Allow participants to acquire the necessary prevention knowledge based on the regulatory requirements of the Safety Code for construction work (article 2.4.2.i.) to work safely.
Upon completion of this program, participants will know how to conduct a joint health and safety committee meeting and acquire the skills to do an assessment, research a hazard and evaluate a study.
