The Learning Institute is offering support in preparing for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) for new nurses to Nova Scotia or RNs within Nova Scotia who meet criteria for this pathway.
This pathway is aligned with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing’s (NSCN’s) criteria for expedited licensure.
Support consists of self-study resources, questions, and assignments, all preparing RNs to write the NCLEX-RN. Successfully completing this exam is required to become licensed as an RN in Nova Scotia.
You can find more information about the exam and licensure from the NSCN.We have engaged with UWorld to provide nurses with online learning tools and practice questions that simulate the NCLEX-RN writing experience.
Learners will be expected to complete 25 to 50 questions per day, or 125 to 250 per week. Further tests and assignment will be scheduled once in the program.
For more information about the program structure, please review the Plan of Study and the NCLEX-RN Preparation Visual Overview.
