This newly updated course replaces the NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management. The course will develop your skills that can then be applied in any workplace, helping you to be a positive influence on fire safety culture within your organisation.

On successful completion of the qualification, a Certificate holder with five years experience in a Health and Safety role may apply for Technician membership (Tech IOSH) of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), the major UK professional body in the field.
The NEBOSH National General Certificate is aimed at managers, supervisors and staff from all types of organisations who need a broad understanding of health and safety issues, with the knowledge gained on the course helping them to manage risks effectively.
At the end of the course, attendees will have gained skills and knowledge which will enable them to identify and correct risks within the working practice of their environment. The course consists of three units, all of which will be tested in the final examinations.
