The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) have specially developed the National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health as an examination based qualification in recognition of this training requirement. The programme consists of three parts:
Part A: Identifying and Controlling Hazards - A five day practical training course.
Part B: The Management of Safety - A five day practical training course.
Part C: Practical Assessment, Revision and Examination - A two day revision course incorporating a practical test, management report and final examination.
