NEBOSH International General Certificate

Nebosh (national examination board in occupational safety and health) is a uk-based independent examining board delivering vocational qualifications in health, safety & environmental practice and management. It was founded in 1979 and offers a range of qualifications from introductory to professional level. Around 180,000 people worldwide hold a nebosh qualification. Courses leading to nebosh qualifications attract candidates worldwide and are offered by over 400 course providers in 83 countries around the world.

This qualification is very useful for managers, supervisors and employees who require a broadknowledge and understanding of health and safety principles and practices. The qualificationfocuses on international standards and management systems, enabling candidates to effectivelydischarge workplace health and safety responsibilities in any employment sector, in all parts of the world. The nebosh international general certificate is also suitable for those embarking on a career in health and safety, providing a sound basis for progression on to the neboshinternational diploma.

The nebosh international general certificate has no prior learning requirements. Since the subject matter is technical & is taught in english it is expected that candidates should be able to reproduce technically correct answers in english language.

The course duration is 10 days of interactive face to face classes & 01 day of examination. Candidates are assessed by two written examinations and a practical assessment. The practical assessment checks your ability to put into practice the knowledge gained during the course.
