Neonatal Resuscitation Programme (NRP)

Ahcoe healthcare simulation centre, was officially incorporated in march 2010 as a not-for-profit organization through an initial federal government grant. The establishment of this organization is to provide a platform or facility for training with the aim of uplifting or enhancing the skills and competencies of healthcare professionals in the country with the emphasis on promoting the delivery of safe and quality healthcare services. 

Over the years, ahcoe has developed progressively in term of its facilities and has equipped itself with the most sophisticated and state-of-the-art healthcare simulation centre which is fully equipped with advanced life support equipment and debriefing system to provide opportunities for healthcare professionals to develop their technical knowledge and skills in the areas patient care. 

The healthcare simulation centre also provides for the evidence-based practices in a safe real-life patient care environment to put into action by means of protocols and algorithms through clinical simulation scenarios without compromising patient safety. The immersive experience gained by the healthcare professionals and the technological integration of debriefing system will develop their skills and confidence in the clinical practice. The clinical simulation technology can also be used as a tool for skills and competency assessment of healthcare professionals in various clinical scenario. 

In line with the vision and mission of the organization, ahcoe continue to develop and introduce new training curriculum to meet the needs of the healthcare professionals.
