The standard delivery period is 9 working days over 8 months with available off job training days with the programme. This qualification has been written to provide the Industrial Rope Access Industry with a nationally recognised qualification and provide the industrial rope access sector with people who have attained basic on-rope vertical skills using constructed anchors.
The qualification is an entry point for people who aim to work in industrial rope access roles such as rope access technicians, electricians with rope access, and industrial abseilers. Theoretical sessions will be conducted during the course. You will need to be physically fit to pass the practical components of the assessment as you will be spending the majority of the time on ropes carrying out practical tasks and skill sets.
