Why do I need a qualification to work in the construction industry?
The Construction Leadership Council (CLC) has decided that there is a need for a qualified workforce. A result of this is the the withdrawal of CSCS cards awarded by 'Grandfather Rights' by 31st December 2024.
The NVQ will help fill the skills gap and provide the only route to obtaining the Blue Skilled Worker card. This includes Plant Operator Schemes such as CPCS Blue Cards as well.
What qualifications can BSD Training offer me?
We offer a wide range of Construction NVQ's to help you get the skilled worker cards needed to work on sites throughout the UK and ROI. Level 2 qualifications can equate to a Blue skills card and the level 3 and above will allow you to gain a Gold skills card in the relevant occupational area.
