Objective

  • To provide the candidate with training to enable him or her to recognize various hazards at motor vehicle accidents and to setup safe working areas on roads with traffic.
  • This course was developed from various IFSTA curriculums in conjunction with the Nova Scotia Emergency Responders Traffic Management Guideline and the Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Act.

 

Prerequisites

  • Must be an active member of a recognized Fire Department or an Industrial Fire Brigade.

 

Target Group

  • All Firefighters and Officers that would operate at any motor vehicle incident.
