1. Basic Numeracy Concepts :
For those who did Mathematical Literacy, or did not achieve an exemption in Maths Standard Grade, or did not take Maths as a matric subject, or for those who have not used their Standard Grade maths for some time and have become very rusty.
This includes basic number concepts through to fractions, decimals, percentages, etc.
2. Intermediate Numeracy Principles :
For those who achieved an exemption in Maths Standard Grade, or had difficulties with Mathematics, or for those who have not used their Higher Grade maths for some time and have become very rusty.
This includes ratio & proportion, conversions, mass, volume, density, graphs etc
3. The Application of Numeracy Principles:
In business, manufacturing, laboratory work and costing. This includes real but simple examples of calculations relevant to manufacturing scenarios e.g. bills of material, cost-in-use, up- and down-scaling of batches, costings etc.
The examples will be customised to represent your manufacturing environment.
The cost includes preparation, online platform, course notes and lecture time.
