Occupational First Aid Certification Training

The provision of learning, training, and awareness across all levels of employees within an organization is a statutory requirement under the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (Act 514).

The recommended training program is suitable for commercial and industrial sites where large numbers of staff members can be instructed in occupational first aid, AED, & CPR procedures.

The course is an ideal method for management to discharge certain responsibilities under the relevant Occupational Health and Safety Act of 1994, Duty of Care. The need for first aid training is further supported by the FMA & OSHA Guidelines for First Aid in the Workplace, which identify that employers should ensure that an appropriate number of suitably trained first aid members are provided.

The guideline is practical guidance on meeting the requirements of Section 25 of the Factories and Machinery Act 1967 (Act 139) and Regulation 38 of the Factories and Machinery (Safety, Health, and Welfare) Regulations 1970, which state the scope of responsibility of an occupier with regards to first-aid provision.

The training method and contents are designed to offer participants an understanding of a variety of first aid techniques and their applications. This course further provides dialogue and talks with participants on why a very high proportion of first aid members are unable to act appropriately during an emergency.

Participants in this program will also have the opportunity to individually participate in practical demonstrations, which we believe will provide a better understanding of managing first aid and CPR.
