Occupational Safety and Health Awareness Training

Safety and health awareness training exposes your workers to how to identify and avoid potential hazards in their workplace or daily lives. This training is designed to help prevent accidents, injuries, and illnesses by promoting a culture of safety and health.

Safety and health awareness training can be provided through various means, including in-person training sessions, online courses, workshops, and on-the-job training. We can tailor the safety and health awareness training to the specific workplace and industry to ensure its relevance and effectiveness.

Malaysian employers have a legal and ethical responsibility, as per the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994, to provide their employees with adequate safety and health awareness training. Training Contents

The training should cover, but not be limited to, the objectives below:

• Understand the importance of complying with Safety and Health legislations (Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994).

• Understand the importance of complying with the elements Safety and Health legislations (Factories and Machinery Act (FMA) 1967).

• Understand the importance of Risk Assessment (hazard identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk control) (HIRARC).

• Understand the importance of good practices in ergonomics and manual handling. &

• Understand the importance of personal protective equipment usage at the workplace.
