Office Management (Business Administrators) BTEC Certificate Level 3

This specialist qualification is a work-related qualification, that gives learners the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to prepare for employment in Business Administration. The qualification also provides career development opportunities for those already in work.

Entry requirements

Entry requirements are a minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade 4/5 (C ) including English and/ or Maths at Grade 4 or 5 (C ). You may be required to Maths or English GCSE alongside your qualification if you do not have one of them. This is subject to qualifications on entry and age of student.

Delivery and Assessment

• Assessment consists of a mixture of exams and course work.

Progression Opportunities

If you are successful in Year 1 you will progress onto the Extended Diploma in Business. The two year programme is approximately equivalent to 3 A levels. The qualification carries UCAS points and is recognised by higher education providers as contributing to meeting admission requirements to many relevant courses. 

Learners should always check the entry requirements for degree programmes with specific higher education providers. After this qualification, learners can also progress directly into employment.
