Here at Western Training, we cover skills pertaining to planning and preparing for operations, conducting machine pre-operational checks, operating the Excavator, excavating or loading materials, operational techniques, removing and fitting attachments.
This qualification reflects the role of fire, rescue and response team members who are trained to respond to emergencies, undertake search and rescue, operate breathing apparatus and deal with hazardous and/or highly dangerous situations in a team environment.
This course is for those who are required to enter and work in confined spaces in accordance with issued permits and interpret atmospheric readings.
In order to improve outcomes, all candidates in the Basic Scaffolding course will be required to show completion of RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights unit. This can be completed through Breight Education prior to the start of the basic scaffold course.Â
This unit describes a participant’s skills and knowledge required to respond to mine incidents in Metalliferous mining. This unit is appropriate for those working in operational roles.There are no pre-requisites for this unit.
