A new wave of challenges in occupational safety and health has led Malaysia to publish OSHA amendments in 2022. The Occupational Safety and Health (Amendment) Act 20221 was approved by Malaysian parliament on March 16, 2022.
As a result, two new parts, 10 new sections, the fourth and fifth schedules have been added, two sections have been removed, four sections have been substituted, and 34 sections have been amended.
