Description
Private sessions can be only be purchased in 1-hour increments, can be used between both locations. Each 1-hour session is individually skill based and led. Private sessions are geared toward much younger students and students needing help with their specific personal machine.
Private sessions can be shared by up to 2 individuals (example, 2 siblings, or a parent/child). Schedules are very limited for Private Sessions, if you don't see an available appointment on our calendar, please reach out for help in scheduling.
We take each student from the skills they currently have, even if that means zero experience, and work them towards what they want to learn after completing the foundation projects. Every student works through the foundation projects before moving on to more complicated projects. These include the pillow, you're bag, apron and zippered purse.
When purchased in sets, each session is used like a punch card; all sessions are scheduled by appointment and typically no more than 8 students per session.
Materials for beginner/foundation projects included
Machines are available on site for class use, you do not need to own a machine to learn to sew. Personal Machines are ONLY allowed during Private Sessions. Boys and Girls, Age 8 and up. (Kids and Adults)
Before signing up for a class please read our class policy carefully:

Amanda Gerard, our fearless leader, has over 20 years of experience behind a sewing machine! Amanda is self-taught, fluent in "what not to do" and "oops, I did it again" and is subsequently able teach the basics in a way that even those who have never before seen a needle and thread can navigate the lost art of sewing!
We currently offer Semi-Private Sewing Classes, Sew Along Workshops and Sewing Camps. We also host large groups, Girl Scouts and Birthday Parties! Please contact us to schedule your special group!
