You will be guided thru the entire process of your project at your own pace by learning to read & understand patterns, make pattern adjustments, measuring and fitting the body, cutting & sewing techniques, utilizing sewing tools, time saving tips and tricks to sewing and most of all having fun. Join in on the class any time.

I discovered my love of sewing at nine years old after making my first dress with my mother. Upon creating that first piece of clothing sparked my passion for making designs come to life. Throughout my adolescent years, I designed and modeled my own clothing.
Do you spend a lot of money on alterations hemming jeans and pants? Learn how to save those really cool jean hems with a special technique the dry cleaners don’t know about! You will follow a step-by-step guide to learn the special technique on how to shorten your jeans and keep the original hem.
Learn basic sewing terminology and types of stitches. Learn how to set up and thread your machine. Practice sewing straight, corners/pivots, and curves and make a bookmark.
We teach children, teens and adults - beginner, intermediate and advance. Â Beginners - Non or very little knowledge on how to operate a sewing machine, basic stitches, basic fabric, basic patterns.
This class is for Kids aged 7-12 and of all skill levels. Supplies and sewing machines will be provided.
When in doubt, start at the very beginning. This course is designed to give novice stitchers a comprehensive foundation in machine sewing. Students will graduate with the skills they need to make a project from start to finish, and will gain the confidence to begin tackling anything.
