This operate and maintain a four wheel drive vehicle course includes the theoretical and practical components to meet the skills and knowledge required to operate and maintain a four wheel drive vehicle.
Participants will gain the following skills and knowledge:
Identifying specific parts
Terminology and techniques
Planning for minimal environmental impact
Performing pre-start and pre-departure checks
Using features for driving in a variety of terrain types
Using a single snatch strap to recover the vehicle
Performing maintenance and minor repairs
Training and assessment is conducted at Site Skills Training facilities. Upon arrangement, training and assessment can be conducted at the premises of industry clients providing there are suitable industry training facilities.
Site Skills Training and Competency Training run weekly high risk work licence courses and qualifications designed to help you or your employees advance in mining, resources, oil, gas, construction and engineering industries.
Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedures course is offered by Safety in the Workplace.
Gas Tests Atmospheres course is offered by Safety Training Professionals.
To assess the participants on their skills and knowledge to conduct front end loader operations for a range of material handling tasks, the fitting, use and removal of attachments and operator maintenance activities.
This course aims to prepare individuals to work safely and competently in or on confined spaces and to meet the legislative obligations for safe work in confined spaces.
This course will also provide you with multiple opportunities to practice and present good communication skills, teamwork, problem solving, initiatives and enterprise, planning and organisation, self management, effective learning skills and information about the newest safety law.
