About The Course

This course is designed for participants to gain the necessary skills to plan, prepare, and complete operations on an Elevated Work Platform, also known as a “Scissor Lift”.

On completion of this course participants will be able to conduct routine checks; plan work; check controls, operate, and shut down an EWP. 

This unit does not meet the requirements of the National High-Risk work requirements, and as such, people considering undertaking this qualification need to confirm that the educational outcomes of this course meet the legislative requirements of their workplace.

The unit of competency TLILIC005 Licence to operate a boom-type elevating work platform (boom length 11 metres or more) meets the National High Risk work legislative requirements.

While training on our premises you will have access to free Wi-Fi, sunscreen, a helmet, and gloves. We also have a filtered water bubbler onsite to keep you hydrated. There are also multiple local cafes in the area.

Who Is Eligible?

Participants need to be over 18 years of age, must meet the basic required language, literacy, and numeracy levels (LLN), be able to produce 100 points of ID with current NSW address, be able to obtain a USI and be able-bodied in order to move around and work with other staff.
