Starting with the basics of mouth care such as tooth brushing, denture cleaning and lip care, the course then moves on to the problems that occur from poor oral hygiene and also other health conditions that can affect or contribute to oral health issues, as well as providing details of products and techniques and how to liaise with dental services.

Basic daily oral hygiene procedures such as checking a mouth, tooth brushing, denture care, mouth and lip care
The importance of good oral health and the causes and effects of poor oral health
Care planning and record keeping around oral health
Up to date information on techniques and products
