What You Will Learn

The orthodontic theory component is a guided, self-study course administered through eClass. It’s recommended that you take at least three months before your desired exam date to complete the theory component and written exam.

After passing the theory exam, you can register and attend the in-person clinical component. You will get hands-on practice with separators banding, bonding, radiology, digital scanners, photography and archwires.

Exams

Exams are held at the University of Alberta on the first Monday of each month. You can also arrange another testing centre, such as other universities, colleges, libraries or schools.
