This course is designed for general industry and construction supervisors, managers, and safety personnel to provide them with knowledge and skills necessary for safe crane operations.

Skills gained from this course will help participants focus on the management aspects of daily crane operations. Participants will also gain "hands on" experience in reading load charts, developing critical lift plans and crane/rigging techniques.

  • Understand typical crane hazards and exposures in construction
  • Manage subcontractor and third party exposures
  • Review OSHA/ANSI requirements for crane and rigging operations
  • Develop critical lift plans and procedures
