The program is designed to protect the health and safety of workers in the workplace and developed in accordance with the requirements of the OH&S Act and industrial regulations.
Course Content:
You will review and understand:
Legislative requirements for operating an overhead crane
Bill C-45 negligence at work
Types of overhead cranes
Hand signals and terminology
Safety inspection
Operating procedures including how to select the proper lifting equipment and calculate weights of loads
All Participants will be required to complete and pass a written test.
