DurationIf you are about to or currently are operating an Overhead Traveling Crane less than 50 tonnes (110,000 lbs.) in capacity, you are required to be a competent crane operator by the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, 2020.
In order to be officially 'competent', an overhead crane operator must either have completed or be in the process of completing a training program that follows the guidelines of Table 13 in the Appendix of the OH&S Regulations.
As such Northern Strands is now offering a training program that meets and exceeds the training criteria of Table 16. Northern Strands Overhead Crane course covers:
