In this class you will learn:
Not to be afraid of your overlocker
The correct way to thread the overlocker and how to change the thread
Achieve the correct tension for a range of finishes
Overlock around curves and corners
Seams for different fabrics
Rolled hems
Gathering
Applying elastic
Flat locking and blind hem
Additional threads, sample fabrics and class notes will be supplied on the day. You just need to bring your own threaded overlocker (and manual).
Great designs often only require your imagination and basic skills. Bring your imagination and I will teach you the knowledge and skills needed to create your own personalised clothing or help you on your way to become a fashion professional.
