Paint (Abstract Art)

Hybrid course: you have the option to study this course onsite at our Waterloo Centre or to attend completely online. This course will follow a structured programme covering approaches to abstract painting: materials & techniques, colour mixing, relationships & optical effects and abstracting from places, spaces, journeys & memories. Returners will develop personal projects with support from the tutor.

• Gain confidence in handling materials and exploring ideas, methods and techniques
• Experiment with approaches, materials and techniques to create a range of work
• Initiate, explore and develop a project independently (returners)
• Gain enthusiasm to explore and develop ideas and skills further
