It is our view that in most cases contact is beneficial to children, as it promotes a sense of personal identity; continuity and enhances their emotional security even at a very young age.
It is our mission to ensure that we address the individual and collective needs of children and families in a nurturing environment. We work closely with legislation, policies and statutory requirements in supporting parents to develop their parenting capacity to safely care for their children in the community.
When we break down what our children need from us – consistency, clear meaningful consequences, authentic attention and positive discipline, then we can enter a position of empowerment and change, both for ourselves, and our children.
Our highly trained and caring staff are there to offer guidance on a one-to-one basis, for any issues you may be concerned about in your home, the Children’s Centre Service building, or in the community.
Rachel’s parenting course draws on almost 30 years experience of teaching children, supporting working parents globally and raising 4 children herself.
We run tailored training for nursery staff, childminders and other childcare professionals. We also offer a short workshop suitable for college students or parents.
Whether you have been court ordered to attend a Triple P Parenting Course or you have concerns about your child’s behaviour, the private consultations are a great way to go about achieving your goal. You get time to really delve deeper in learning the whys, whats and hows.
