Our Pastry Chef program allows you to work within the industry while you build your education. If your ambitions are more specific, you can also choose to specialize as an assistant cook, baker, or baker’s helper, or in basic cooking or specialty foods.

Accreditation by American Culinary Federation Education Foundation Accrediting Commission (ACFEFAC) assures that a program is meeting at least a minimum of standards and competencies set for faculty, curriculum, and student services.
San Jacinto Community College's culinary arts program delivers basic training and educations for cooks and apprentice chefs. The progprimarily on technical food preparation and technical skills, food composition, and the use and maintenance of professional food service equipment.

The Pastry Arts associate’s degree from Walnut Hill College teaches both the basics and specialized skills that you need to start a career as a pastry chef.Â

The Baking & Pastry School curriculum is focused on helping you grow as both an artist and a technician. Working in professional kitchens, you’ll explore both theory and practice through courses that take you from the fundamentals to the world cuisines that are emerging in popularity.
In our professional bakery you will be taught by talented and experienced chef-instructors who love to teach and for students to succeed. Â You will begin with the fundamentals of using baking and pastry tools and starting to develop the skills and techniques.
The Associate of Applied Science in Baking and Pastry Arts Program will prepare you in the fundamental skills of classical and modern pastries, bread, cake, ice cream and confections.
