Zoe Clifton is an Australian designer who has more than two decade’s experience with patchwork patterns and creating patchwork designs. Since the early 2000’s, Zoe has been writing patchwork patterns while also creating projects for magazines and running her own online patchwork shop.

This course caters for beginners who want to learn how to sew, through to intermediate students who want to refine their existing skills. Learn to read a pattern, make up a toile, pattern preparation and layout, cutting and sewing instructions.
I show you how to use commercial patterns and explain to you the instructions given to construct your garments. I can give you handy tips and show you short cuts with the patterns and how to finish your garments neatly and professionally.
Our after school classes will introduce a love of sewing to those aged 9 and over, including teenagers. Our students learn a variety of basic skills from hand stitching to machine use and then go on to use that knowledge to create their own project.
