Join print artist, Katie Charleson, and learn the key techniques involved in screen printing textiles, sewing, and quilting all while upcycling fabric from your own home.
You will learn the basics of crochet; how to hold the hook and yarn, chain stitch, single, double and treble stitches. You will produce pretty little squares which can be linked together to create a cushion, scarf, etc. You will gain all the skill you need to continue your masterpiece at home.
Together we'll make a pair of fingerless mitts, learning all the basics of knitting along the way: how to knit, purl, cast on and bind off as well as seaming and weaving in the ends of your finished project.
