Paver Operator Training course summary:
Instructions on the operations of the paver machine, the basic principles of laying tarmac and safety aspects of the correct operation of the paver machine. This paver training course is carried out by one of our experienced instructors who is approved with one of the six most recognised bodies which is recognised by the HSE.

Minimum age for operating the paver machine:
To operate a paver machine on a site, the paver operator must be at least 18 years of age.
To operate a paver machine on a public highway, the paver operator must be at least 21 years of age, and must have a full driving license.
We check if the paver trainees are at a minimum age of 18 years of age.

The New Roads and Street Works Act for Operatives training is suitable for any operatives involved in excavation and reinstatement on the public highway.
To provide delegates with a basic understanding of health and safety, along with knowledge of the principle hazards and risks, legislation and best practice to safely work on Highways England’s Strategic Road Network (SRN).
This two-day course is for both operatives and supervisors who already hold the New Roads and Street Works Card. Anyone carrying out work on the public highways must be reassessed every 5 years.
The New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA) requires that each set of street works has at least one operative with a prescribed Street Works qualification on site while works are taking place.
The NRSWA Streetworks full award operatives and supervisor qualification ensures all work on roads and infrastructure in the UK is carried out to the highest standard possible and meets all requirements of current regulations.
