This course is suitable for those who will be, or already are, working within a Permit to Work System and are currently able to complete suitable and sufficient risk assessments. Learners should already have an underpinning knowledge of hazard, risk and control measures.

The Health and Safety at Work Act 1971 requires employers to provide systems of work that are “safe and without risks to health”. Making sure your employees can implement permit to work systems will ensure you are fulfilling your legal duties as an employer.

693,000 injuries occurred at work during 2019.. Training your staff to correctly use a permit to work system will help reduce the likelihood of accidents and incidents by defining the hazards and control measures of high risk tasks.
