Continued Personal Development (CPD)
Alongside our regular funded training events Surrey Training Hub is able to support with funding towards external courses and modules.
There are currently several funding pots available to staff working in GP Practices across Surrey Heartlands. These include CPD monies from Health Education England specifically for Nurses and Allied Health Professionals as well as other ring-fenced development funds for other roles (including non-clinical staff).
There are also many courses that are available through the apprenticeship route.
Small Steps Big Changes (SSBC) is a programme of activities designed to give every child the best start in life. We are funded through the National Lottery Community Fund’s A Better Start Programme.
This course is likely to benefit someone with a background in the helping professions and caring professions.
Professional Development Awards (PDAs) in Management are for managers at all levels within an organisation. It gives managers an opportunity to develop their performance in their job to become more effective and to progress their career.
They will then be shown techniques and methods for addressing problem areas, learn how to set priorities and plan their day/workload, use ‘To Do’ lists and be given a better understanding of pressure vs. stress.
We ask the right questions, we listen, we explore with you and ensure we are able to provide you with what you need. If we don’t have it, we will hook you up with one of our professional associates who can.
A Personal Development Group offers the opportunity for you to experience what happens in a Gestalt therapy group. It’s a safe, supportive space in which you can explore personal issues alongside other people who also want to understand themselves better.
